International cooperation in the development of the National Qualifications System
Important steps are being taken in Uzbekistan to develop the National Qualifications System, ensure education quality through the integration of the labor market and education system, and expand opportunities for lifelong learning and continuous professional activity.

In this context, the next four-day seminar-training was organized in cooperation with the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and UNESCO. The event was attended by Institute staff, representatives of sectoral councils, and qualified industry specialists.

During the meeting, held within the framework of the Concept for the Development of the National Qualifications System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030 and the “Roadmap,” international experts Olav Aarna and Jean-Marc Castejon delivered their presentations.

Specifically, they provided participants with practical recommendations based on models used in Estonia and France, as well as the criteria applied in defining qualification standards and learning outcomes.

Additionally, during the seminar-training, industry specialists exchanged views on regulating labor relations based on next-generation occupational standards, improving higher and vocational education programs, elevating the quality of the workforce training system, ensuring international recognition of qualifications, and integrating national qualification levels with those of leading foreign countries.
